At iOWA iBROW and iLASH Academy, we offer a spectrum of online and live courses. There is no major difference but in online classes, there is just training, but in workshops, you will get an opportunity to execute your learnings on live models.
Yes, in most states across the United States, you will need some beauty or health licence to perform eyelash extensions professionally. Along with our certification, you will need an esthetician or cosmetologist licence to offer these services to your clients.
If you are enrolling in an eyelash extension training course, it is recommended that you have an eyelash kit, mannequin head, and practice strip lashes in your kit. At iOWA iBROW iLASH Academy, we will provide a welcome iLASH kit that contains foil strips, strips, fibres and finishing matte.
No, our courses are designed to help professionals extend their offerings by adding new services to their service menu. However, if you are in a beauty school, you can enrol in our courses, and we would just need a copy of your acceptance letter.
The cost of eyelash extension training might vary depending on the duration. We have 1-on-1 eyelash training courses, 1-Day Lash Lift & Tint, 2-Day Volume Extensions and 3-Day Master Classes. You can connect with us or check the course curriculum and prices here.
Upon successfully completing every course, you will receive a certificate with your name and date of completion. You can either download this certification online or collect a physical copy for showcasing at your studio or clinic.
No, you don’t need to purchase an eyelash extension kit if you’re enrolling in our beginner courses. However, with advanced courses, you will need to make separate purchases of our kits, such as iBROW Lamination Kit, iLASH Extension Kit and PMU Machine, if you wish to extend your learnings and offerings.
Yes, we provide live models for all our in-class training. On workshop days, you just need to bring your notepad, and models will be available here. However, with scalp pigmentation, one needs to have their own models, but our instructor will assist throughout the process.
Well, the answer completely depends on interest. While having a background in beauty or related industries is not necessary, you can apply if you are serious about becoming a professional Lash stylist and willing to dedicate a few hours to your personal and professional growth.
Though most courses are group sessions, we also offer private 1-on-1 training courses that focus on providing complete information and training that one needs to become a professional lash artist. Private courses include 1-on-1 training, guidance and model training.

Yes, you are welcome to bring your live models to your training sessions. However, we are partnered with modelling agencies that provide us with models on which our students can perform their learnings.
After hours of training from our professionals, you will learn all basic and advanced techniques to hands-on everything you need to start your new venture. Also, there is a huge demand for microblading in the market, so you can make a good amount if you get certified in this course.
There is a fine line between microblading and micro shading. While microblading leaves tiny, natural-looking hair strokes, micro shading leaves small pinpoint dots to complement the look.
Since extensions are attached to your lash itself, they shade along with your natural hair, usually lasting about six weeks. However, professional eyelash extensions can make them last a little longer.
With proper application, meaning one synthetic eyelash applied on a natural lash, it looks completely natural and real. At iOWA iBROW iLASH Academy, we perform professional eyelash extensions so that none will know whether they are real hair or extensions.
Although mascara is not required on extensions, if you want a puffy and darker look, you can apply mascara, but make sure it is water-proof and does not have any oil.
If you decide to remove your lashes, we can help you professionally remove your eyelash extensions. It is a thirty-minute, non-invasive process in which we just apply a gel.
It does work, but SPM for long hair is not a long-term solution. However, if you already have long hair, you can blend them with a tattoo for a fuller look.
